Where is the event?

Sevierville’s Bloomin’ BBQ is in historic downtown Sevierville around the Sevier County Courthouse. GPS address: 125 Court Avenue Sevierville, TN 37862 (Note: This address is the center of the event. Parking will be available along the perimeter of the event, throughout downtown Sevierville.)

Is there a charge to attend?

Bloomin’ BBQ Festival offers free admission and free concerts.

What should I plan to pay for?

Activities such as shopping with arts and crafts vendors, enjoying the food and a few select kids’ activities will have a charge.

Where should I park?

Free parking is available throughout downtown Sevierville. First Baptist Church Sevierville (317 Parkway Sevierville, TN 37862) is also a great option for parking.

What can I bring?

• Chairs: Bring a chair, sit back, and enjoy music throughout the festival. Please remember that unattended lawn chairs will be removed.

• Pets: Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome! If you bring your dog, please make sure to clean up after them. Complimentary bags will be available at the Festival Information Tent.

• PLEASE DO NOT BRING umbrellas, tents, coolers, or alcoholic beverages. There is also no vaping or smoking on festival grounds.

Will the Sevier County Courthouse in downtown close early for the event?

The Sevier County Courthouse will be closed on Friday May 17, 2024 for staff training. This will also allow us the opportunity to further prepare for the event.

What is the street closure schedule?

Thursday May 16 approximately 6pm: Bruce St. from Parkway to intersection with Court Ave. will close. West bound lane of Bruce St. from intersection with Court Ave. to Citizens National Bank will close. Court Ave. from Bruce Street to intersection with Commerce St. will close. North bound section of Court Ave. from intersection with Bruce St. to Joy St. will close. The city parking lot at 136 Bruce Street will also close. Friday May 17 12pm: The remainders of the streets surrounding the Courthouse and the Courthouse parking lot will close. Sunday May 19 11am: All streets will reopen.

What is there to eat?

Bloomin’ BBQ attendees will be able to dine on barbeque from vendors who also happen to be Champion Barbeque Competitors. Four of the teams that participate in the cook-off will also be selling their championship winning barbeque.

Everything from barbeque sandwiches to full racks of ribs will be available from our vendors. Additionally, we’ll have baked potatoes, corn on the cob, fried catfish, fried desserts, popcorn, cotton candy and traditional festival foods. And don’t forget about the downtown restaurants which will also be open and serving delicious food and drink.

-Dessert -“Anything Bush’s Beans” -“Anything Swaggerty’s Farm Sausage”

* Cook Teams begin cooking Friday Morning

* Three competitions Friday evening “Anything Bush’s Beans,” “Anything Swaggerty’s Farm Sausage,” and Dessert

* Saturday competitions: beef brisket, chicken, pork ribs, and pork.

* Winning Cook Teams receive prize money and trophies Saturday May 18, 2024, at 4pm.
