Where is the event?

Sevierville’s Bloomin’ BBQ is in historic downtown Sevierville around the Sevier County Courthouse. GPS address: 125 Court Avenue Sevierville, TN 37862 (Note: This address is the center of the event. Parking will be available along the perimeter of the event, throughout downtown Sevierville.)

Is there a charge to attend?

Bloomin’ BBQ Festival offers free admission and free concerts.

What should I plan to pay for?

Activities such as shopping with arts and crafts vendors, enjoying the food and a few select kids’ activities will have a charge.

Where should I park?

Free parking is available throughout downtown Sevierville. First Baptist Church Sevierville (317 Parkway Sevierville, TN 37862) is also a great option for parking.

Will the Sevier County Courthouse in downtown close early for the event?

The Sevier County Courthouse will close at Noon on Friday May 20, 2022 so that we may further prepare for the event.

What is the street closure schedule?

Thursday May 19 approximately 6pm: Bruce St. from Parkway to intersection with Court Ave. will close. West bound lane of Bruce St. from intersection with Court Ave. to Citizens National Bank will close. Court Ave. from Bruce Street to intersection with Commerce St. will close. North bound section of Court Ave. from intersection with Bruce St. to Joy St. will close. Friday May 20 1pm: The remainders of the streets surrounding the Courthouse will close. Sunday May 22 11am: All streets will reopen.

What is there to eat?

Bloomin’ BBQ attendees will be able to dine on barbeque from vendors who also happen to be Champion Barbeque Competitors. Three of the teams that participate in the cook-off will also be selling their championship winning barbeque.

Everything from barbeque sandwiches to full racks of ribs will be available from our vendors. Additionally, we’ll have baked potatoes, corn on the cob, fried catfish, fried desserts, popcorn, cotton candy and traditional festival foods.

* Tennessee State Championship Cook-Off sponsored by Bush Beans

* Sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society

* Teams compete for $17,500 in cash & prizes in this Bush’s Best Tennessee State Championship Cook Off

* Competition categories include: -Beef Brisket -Chicken -Pork Ribs -Pork
-Dessert -Sauce -“Anything Bush’s Beans” -“Anything Swaggerty’s Farm Sausage”

* Cook Teams begin cooking Friday Morning

* Four competitions Friday evening “Anything Bush’s Beans,” “Anything Swaggerty’s Farm Sausage,” Sauce and Dessert

* Saturday competitions: beef brisket, chicken, pork ribs, and pork.

* Winning Cook Teams receive prize money and trophies Saturday May 21, 2022, at 4pm.
